An American sporting star’s girlfriend has been killed in a horrifying accident when their vehicle hit a deer.
College gridiron wide receiver Julian Fleming was driving a Yamaha quad bike with Alyssa Boyd on a rural road in Pennsylvania when they hit a deer that darted in front of them.
Boyd, 23, suffered extensive injuries and died at the scene. Fleming, 24, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Social media posts show Fleming and Boyd together, with 247sports.com reporting that they were dating.
Fleming was a standout high school star at Southern Columbia High in Catawissa where he was ranked the top wide receiver recruit in the US.
He signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL draft but the team rescinded the contract after he failed his physical.
